Create an account, confirm your email, and open the Self Assessment for the tax year you are preparing.
Enter private hire earnings, including amounts from the operators you drive for. Use the figures from your own statements.
Record the allowable costs of the work in the categories the return asks for. Keep your own receipts with you.
The return shows an estimate of Income Tax and Class 4 National Insurance from the figures you enter. It is an estimate, not a final HMRC assessment.
Your sign-in and the taxpayer details saved on the account live under Account. Those details stay with the account rather than on a public page.
You can record a name or reference for a statement or receipt. File upload is not available yet, so the original file is not stored by the product.
Direct HMRC filing is not enabled yet. Preparing a return here does not send it to HMRC.
If a page will not load, a figure will not save, or you cannot sign in, note what you were doing and contact support once a contact address is published.
Support contact details will be published before launch. You can use the topics on this page in the meantime, or sign in to continue a saved return.
